Lucy Chen, Editor in Chief
Lucy Chen is a first-year advertising graduate student in COM at Boston University, and she received her bachelor’s degree from BU Questrom in finance and marketing. She was born and raised in Hangzhou, China (which is a very beautiful city that you definitely shouldn’t miss out on), and she has lived in New York and Boston for the past six years. She loves creative ideas, and she loves to work and chat with people who come from diverse cultures.
Mary Bamrick, Managing Editor
Mary Bamrick is a first-year graduate student who is pursuing her master’s degree in advertising with a focus on art direction. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she has lived in Boston for the past five years and hopes to one day finally live somewhere warm. She loves traveling, watching movies, the Buffalo Bills, and being Irish.
Amelia Henning, Senior Editor
Amelia Henning is a senior in COM majoring in advertising. Her passions include traveling, visiting museums, and baking cupcakes. Her goal in life is to visit all seven continents before she retires as a CEO.
Lani Weil, Senior Editor
Lani Weil is a first-year graduate student from around the corner (by way of Belmont), who is currently pursuing her master’s in communication studies with a focus in radio. She has a passion for community gatherings around storytelling and music, crafts large and small, running in the cold, and most importantly, tea.
Claire Doire, Senior Editor
Claire Doire is a junior at Boston University studying public relations with a minor in political science. She proudly hails from Middletown, Rhode Island. In addition to working on The COMmunicator, Claire’s hobbies include dancing, acting, hiking and figuring out how to become her own version of The West Wing’s C.J. Cregg.
Taryn Rostovsky, Study Abroad Coordinator
Taryn Rostovsky is a fourth-year student at Boston University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design and double minoring in communications and dance. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, she came to Boston for a change and a chance to dabble in the snow. Eventually, Taryn hopes to fuse her appreciation for design and advertising to further a career in the field.
Tatiana Morales, Social Media Coordinator
Tatiana Morales is a senior in COM earning her bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus in public relations. Born and raised in Queens, New York she knows how to hustle and dream big. You can find Tatiana discovering new music, watching true crime documentaries, or making plans to go to the gym (which never happens).
Michaela Morrison, Faculty Liaison
Michaela Morrison is a fourth-year undergraduate pursuing a degree in public relations and philosophy. She was born and raised in San Francisco, California, which is one of the most beautiful and happy places to both visit and live. Michaela can often be found binge-watching crime television and grappling with some of life’s most complicated questions.
Nour Nabhan, Marketing Manager
Nour is currently a junior in the College of Communication studying advertising. She was born and raised in Tennessee, but her family came to the States from Lebanon, so she considers it her second home. She loves fashion and works as a stylist for Off The Cuff on campus. She enjoy sports, and her favorite to play is soccer.
Yawen Shuai, Webmaster
Yawen Shuai combines five years of academic training in communication with professional experiences in media marketing and TV production. She is pursuing a master’s degree in communication studies at Boston University. Yawen hopes to launch a career in entertainment industry as a content operations manager in the future.
