Anh Phuong Vo, Editor-in-Chief

Anh is a second year graduate student in Mass Communication: Communication Studies at Boston University. She was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, but has lived in Boston for the past 7 years. Before attending BU, Anh received her Bachelor’s from Northeastern University in International Affairs. With this background, she is passionate about using the tools of communication to bring about social change in developing countries. Aside from being a full-time student, Anh serves as a marketing advisor for Vietnamese-based charity foundation, Build-a-Bridge. When not at COM, Anh enjoys SoulCycling or exploring the Boston food scene with friends.


Addie Brandfield Harvey, Managing Editor

Addie is currently a graduate student in the College of Communication, concentrating in Public Relations. She earned her bachelor’s from BU in May 2016. She hails from Houston, Texas, but now identifies herself as a “Houstonian Bostonian.” When she takes a break from social media, she dedicates her time to family and fitness. Her interests include half-marathons and road cycling. 



Kaushik Lakshman, Senior Editor

Kaushik is a second year graduate student in the MS in Mass Communication: Communication Studies department at BU COM. He hails from Mumbai, India and has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from India. His favourite pastime is to watch and read about a variety of sports, especially lawn tennis and cricket. He also loves talking and learning from people from different cultures. To him, the magic in life is to read and write. Words are truly magical.



Jonathan Rios, Senior Editor

Jon is in his final semester of grad school at the College of Communication studying Marketing Communication Research. He earned bachelor’s degrees from BU in Mathematics and Film & Television. He is a self-proclaimed TV junkie and hopes to work in a research role within the television industry. Jon was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and enjoys hiking, playing Frisbee, and reading comic books.



Gavin DamoreSenior Editor

Gavin Damore is a public relations graduate student. Before coming to Boston University, Gavin developed social media and public relations content for Boston-based theatre productions, including the second international tour of “Kultar’s Mime” and Fort Point Theatre Channel’s world-premiere production of “Dreambook.” Gavin is also the communications manager and cofounder of Artists For Suburbia, a theatre initiative on Boston’s south shore, bringing new and experimental works to the suburbs. Gavin holds a B.A. in English from Stonehill College and currently works on the communications team at American Public Television.



Megan Libby, Faculty Liaison

Megan is a graduate student studying Mass Communication. She holds a BA in Global Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Before returning to graduate school, Megan traveled extensively through Asia and Europe, and worked in marketing at various nonprofits and a tech startup in the San Francisco Bay Area. When she’s not at COM, she enjoys running, hiking, yoga, and sampling various restaurants around Boston.



Qinyu Zhang, Webmaster

Qinyu is a senior studying advertising. She is also the Interactive Manager in AdLab. When she’s not running around COM, you can find her bicycling, reading, drawing or gaming with her friends.





Amelia Henning,  Study Abroad Coordinator

Amelia is a junior in COM majoring in advertising. Her passions include travel and baking cupcakes. Her goal in life is to have visited all seven continents before she retires as the CEO of an ad agency.
