The COMmunicator Welcomes New Editor in Chief, Shaye Spector

To the COMmunity,

Hi! I’m Shaye Spector, and I am so excited and honored to be the Editor-in-Chief of  COMmunicator for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Welcome to our website! We are the COMmunicator, a student-run online publication for the Mass Communications, Advertising, and PR programs in the College of Communication at Boston University. We were established 11 years ago by BU Alumnus, and current professor Dorothy Clark. Each year we bring the COMmunity together through news pieces, personal blogs, Q&As with faculty and COM alumni, as well as multimedia such as photo essays and videos.

A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and I recently graduated from McGill University where I majored in North American Studies and minored in Communications. I am really excited to be getting my Master’s in Public Relations at BU, and be able to explore the amazing city of Boston for the next year and a half.

Though this semester might look a little bit different, we want to make the COMmunicator look and feel the same. We have an amazing team that is working hard to keep things positive, fun, and interesting as we all go through this adjustment time together.

Please contact us if you would like to be featured in the COMmunicator, we would love to hear from you!

Sincerely,

Shaye Spector
