Welcome back, COMmunicators!
I trust that you’ve all had a fun, restful, and productive summer! As the new Editor-in-Chief, I’d like to first salute the former Editor-in-Chief, Katherine Seaton, and her team, who’s done a fantastic job with the website last semester. Under her leadership, The COMmunicator has undergone a thorough makeover with more interactive contents and improved media capabilities. My team and I are excited to carry on the torch and continue to bring you the latest news on Boston University’s Advertising, PR, and Mass Communication programs.
It has always been the goal of The COMmunicator to give readers a sense of the diversity, creativity, and achievements of our students, faculty, and alumni. More than ever, I am confident in our ability to carry that message across as we have the most diverse executive team as of yet, in terms of cultural, academic and professional background. (Don’t forget to check out their profiles in the ‘About’ section!) Naturally, we each have very different things to say about the shared experiences we have at the home we call COM. These varied perspectives are what we intend to focus on this semester.
In essence, The COMmunicator is a website that was created by YOU and for YOU. We hope you’ll enjoy the interactive and quality contents produced by our staff, and will contribute your voice and stories.
