Dear Fellow COMmunicators,
Welcome back! After a long, long break, it’s nice to be back on campus and among Terriers again. While many of you (and us) were celebrating the holidays with family and friends and enjoying some much needed rest, the COMmunicator website was undergoing an extreme makeover. With many thanks to our talented webmaster Paisley Piasecki, we, as a team, are excited to officially unveil the new and improved website with expanded media capabilities, and a newer, sleeker design.
Part of the reason for this change was to update some outdated aspects of our site, but we also felt it was necessary to focus on the growing trend of social media as a main method of communication. This isn’t to say we are leaving behind our traditional stories and focusing only on dynamic media. We strive to publish colorful and compelling articles each week that focus on the many different aspects of life at COM. This requires new additions to our stories – such as videos, engaging content, and more stunning visuals – while maintaining the high standard stories we produce each week. While this process will evolve and you’ll begin to see a variety of material, we are just starting out and experimenting with change. Keep checking in to see what we produce and contribute your voice if you would like to join us. Without further ado, welcome to the Spring 2017 BU COMmunicator!
