PRLab and AdLab Collaborate to “Live Life Full Speed”

What would you do with a Mazda 3? That is the question PRlab and AdLab want students to answer through their campaign this semester. The two student organizations, which can be taken for credit through the College of Communication, provide the opportunity for students to gain professional experience. PRLab and AdLab are two of the oldest student-run agencies in the nation and boast a client portfolio that includes both local and national clients.

With a highly competitive job market, students are becoming more concerned about receiving real world experience that will help prepare them for a professional career. PRLab and AdLab are available resources for students who want the experience that will inevitably help them stand out in the crowd.

Madza reached out to students in AdLab, in collaboration with PRLab, and the two groups took on the campaign to “Live Life Full Speed” for the 2014 Mazda 3. This invitation was extended to several other colleges across the nation to create a collaborative advertising/ public relation campaign for the Mazda 3 launch in January 2014. The team with the best campaign will be invited to present at the US Mazda headquarters with the potential to produce Mazda 3’s national campaign.

“Live Life Full Speed” will include elements of print and video advertisements and an active social media presence.
